Archbishop Desmond Tutu And Freedom For Palestine Recording

That this House commends Archbishop Desmond Tutu, winner of the Nobel Prize for Peace, for promoting the record Freedom for Palestine by OneWorld; acknowledges his powerful words comparing what life was like in apartheid South Africa to what he has personally witnessed in Palestinian territories occupied by Israel; congratulates the charity War on Want for publishing Archbishop Tutu's words of encouragement to the Palestinian people and his message to the world that a critical mass of people want to see an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the oppression of its people; urges hon. andRt hon. Members to buy the single Freedom for Palestine; and calls on the Government to join forces with governments around the world to put pressure on Israel to honour UN resolutions.
