Fuel Price Increases

EDM number 1210 in 2010-12, proposed by David Morris on 15/12/2010.
Categorised under the topics of Energy, Oil, petrol and natural gas and Roads.

That this House notes with concern the recent increases in fuel prices; further notes that this increase has made it hard for haulage companies across the country; demands that oil producers end the OPEC cartel that pushes up prices and restricts the free market; further demands that the Government looks urgently at fuel tax cuts to help all drivers and essential user rebates specifically to help businesses such as hauliers; and believes that fuel price reductions will help the economy and give much needed respite to the hard-pressed haulage industry.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
