Practices At Vodafone

EDM number 1689 in 2010-12, proposed by Angus MacNeil on 31/03/2011.
Categorised under the topic of Telecommunications.

That this House condemns the sharp practices at the mobile telephone company Vodafone, which, when selling customers replacement dongles for laptops, does not cancel existing contracts and can leave the customer unaware that this must be done separately by email; and notes that while such cancellation seemingly cannot be done in store at the wish of the customer, by contrast a contract can be started with ease at a store at the wish of the customer.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs.
