Executive Bonuses

EDM number 728 in 2010-12, proposed by John McDonnell on 14/09/2010.
Categorised under the topic of Financial institutions.

That this House notes with concern that a study by the business advisory firm Deloitte has revealed that executive bonuses of the FTSE 100 firms are close to pre-crisis levels, with the average bonus amounting to 100 per cent. of basic salary, at a time when many people are losing their jobs or having their wages cut and losing benefits; and therefore calls on the Government to bring forward urgently measures which will tackle this grotesque display of inequality and outrageous greed.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
