Anti-Dumping Duties On Imported Ceramic Products From China

EDM number 1234 in 2012-13, proposed by Joan Walley on 21/03/2013.
Categorised under the topics of Asia, Competition, International trade and EU external relations.

That this House is concerned about dumped imports of ceramic table and kitchenware from China; believes that this is anti-competitive and does not allow for UK companies to compete on a level playing field with their Chinese competitors; notes that the introduction of provisional duties in November 2012 has had a positive impact on UK ceramic companies; and calls on the UK Government to support the adoption of definitive anti-dumping measures when the European Commission votes on the final proposals on 4 April 2013.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
