Israeli Threat To Attack Iran

EDM number 540 in 2012-13, proposed by George Galloway on 18/09/2012.
Categorised under the topic of Middle East.

That this House notes the massive military build-up of US and UK naval forces in the Gulf; further notes that this is apparently in preparation for an expected military attack by Israel on nuclear facilities in Iran; believes that such an attack would be entirely unjustified and threatens a conflagration in the Middle East which is already a tinder box; and urges the Government to withdraw forces from the Gulf and instead to do everything possible to dissuade Israel from pursuing this disastrous course of action in which tens of thousands of people may lose their lives.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
