That this House congratulates Leeds Rhinos on retaining their Super League Champions crown after their thrilling 26-18 victory over Warrington Wolves in the 2012 Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday 6 October; praises the players on the quality of the match and the play-offs and league as a whole, which have been a great advert for rugby league and also commiserates with Warrington Wolves but congratulates them on reaching and challenging so well in an amazing final; commends Leeds Rhinos on winning their sixth Grand Final victory, five of which have come in the last six seasons, and for coming from fifth position in the Super League table to win the Grand Final for the second season running; recognises the huge effort the players, coaches and backroom staff at Headingley have put in throughout the whole season; and wishes them luck in representing the Super League in defending their World Club Challenge crown in February 2013 against the winners of the Australasian NRL Grand Final, the Melbourne Storm.
