That this House urges the Financial Conduct Authority to mandate the compulsory real-time sharing of consumer credit loan data by all high-cost short-term credit providers with all UK credit reference agencies; and further urges that all high-cost short-term credit providers should search a real-time credit database and consider the search results before deciding whether to grant a consumer a high-cost short-term credit facility.
