That this House acknowledges the outstanding efforts of Mountain Rescue in responding to the devastation caused by storm Desmond; commends the exceptional professionalism of the Mountain Rescue volunteers and the selfless bravery they demonstrate in helping those in need; notes that, during their numerous rescue missions during storm Desmond, Mountain Rescue teams lost vast amounts of equipment, incurring costs of £17,000, and a national loss of £38,000; and calls on the Government to reimburse the losses of Mountain Rescue.
