Abolition Of Hospital Car Parking Charges - Support

EDM number 932 in 2017-19, proposed by Robert Halfon on 08/02/2018.
Categorised under the topics of Health services and Roads.

That this House is aware of the support of a number of UK-wide charities and motoring organisations for the abolition of hospital car parking charges at NHS hospitals in England; notes the cross-party support for the motion on hospital car parking charges in the House of Commons Chamber on Thursday 1 February 2017; is concerned by the unnecessary burden the charges present for patients and visitors of ill relatives during an already stressful time; and therefore urges the Government to scrap hospital car parking charges at NHS hospitals in England.

This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
