PARENTS' WEEK 2007

EDM number 2111 in 2006-07, proposed by Maria Miller on 15/10/2007.

That this House congratulates the Family and Parenting Institute for organising Parents' Week 2007; celebrates the important work parents and families do in bringing up children, instilling values and caring for sick, disabled and elderly relatives; further congratulates the work done by voluntary organisations including the Family and Parenting Institute, Community Family Trusts, the National Couple Support Network and others in supporting separating parents and the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach families; and urges greater collaboration between Government and the voluntary sector in order to support parents and families better.

This motion has been signed by a total of 56 MPs.
