Home Front Workers

That this House congratulates and thanks all those home front workers whose efforts were recognised after more than half a century by a service of thanksgiving and dedication at Coventry Cathedral on Friday 3rd March; thanks the Government and its representatives for making a memorial to the home front possible; thanks the City of Coventry and its university and cathedral for their hospitality; and requests the Government to support the erection of a memorial to the women of World War Two on the vacant plinth in Trafalgar Square.
