Mid-Air Collision Involving A Tupolev 154

EDM number 1575 in 2001-02, proposed by Robert N Wareing on 08/07/2002.

That this House sends its sympathy and deepest condolences to the parents, relatives, and friends of the Russian children, their teachers and members of the crew of the Tupolev airliner who so disastrously lost their lives in the tragic collision over Southern Germany; sympathises also with the families of the crew of the Boeing 757 cargo plane who also lost their lives; and trusts that a thorough examination of the air traffic procedure will result in improvements in air travel safety.
