Funding For Endometriosis

EDM number 1445 in 2002-03, proposed by Anne Begg on 19/06/2003.

That this House recognises that Endometriosis is a gynaecological condition which can cause infertility, extreme and constant pain and depression; welcomes the third National Endometriosis Awareness Day on 2nd July as a means of raising the awareness amongst policy makers and public representatives into what is still a relatively unknown condition despite the fact that two million women in the UK are sufferers; congratulates the work of the All Party Group on Endometriosis in helping to highlight the condition; and calls on the Government to invest more into research, awareness and treatment of Endometriosis.

This motion has been signed by a total of 97 MPs.
