Fighting Prostate Cancer

That this House is concerned about the high and increasing incidence of prostate cancer in men in the United Kingdom; believes that the poor five year survival rate which in the United Kingdom is 45 per cent. should be increased to the levels currently achieved in other countries such as the 80 per cent. achieved in the United States; and urges the Government to redouble its efforts to inform the public about prostate cancer and to improve its diagnosis and treatment.
