Take It Back Campaign

EDM number 1372 in 2003-04, proposed by Kevin Hughes on 22/06/2004.

That this House welcomes the Take it Back medical equipment campaign supported by BBC Radio Sheffield, CSV Media, the British Red Cross, Business in the Community and local NHS hospital trusts, urging people to return valuable medical equipment to NHS hospitals and equipment loan centres around the region, which has been borrowed by patients but never returned; and notes that should much of the equipment such as wheelchairs, beds, crutches and commodes be returned, it would save the NHS hundreds of thousands of pounds annually.

This motion has been signed by a total of 55 MPs.
