Cultural Cleansing In Iran

That this House recalls the destruction in April of the Shrine of Quddus, a Baha'i holy site in Iran; notes with concern that on 27th June a second property with deep historical and spiritual significance to the Baha'i faith, the House of Mirza Buzurg, was destroyed in Tehran; laments this further act of cultural cleansing and notes that the Iranian authorities are so extreme in their desire to persecute the Baha'i faith that they will even destroy the assets of their own cultural heritage; and urges Her Majesty's Government to raise this matter with the Iranian authorities.
