Licence Fee Structure For Sport And Voluntary Groups

That this House notes that there is great concern amongst the thousands of amateur sporting and voluntary groups who fund their activities largely through bar takings; and calls on the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport to make a statement clarifying the position as otherwise it appears that with one hand the Government has offered rate relief for amateur sports but with another had taken the money back through the increased licence fee.
