Reinstatement Of Home Championships

EDM number 782 in 2004-05, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 24/02/2005.

That this House recognises the love of football that exists across the United Kingdom; acknowledges the intense interest there is among football fans in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the current World Cup qualifying campaign; and therefore calls on the four Football Associations in the UK seriously to consider reinstating the Home Championships, which were last held in 1984, with Northern Ireland being the current holders.

This motion has been signed by a total of 23 MPs.
