Charges Against Mr Mordechai Vanunu For Violating Restrictions

EDM number 958 in 2004-05, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 17/03/2005.

That this House deplores the actions by Israel's security services on 17th march 2005, in charging Mr Mordechai Vanunu with violating the ludicrous and unjust restrictions that were imposed against him upon his release from prison in April 2004; notes that such restrictions for a supposedly freed man are incompatible with democratic justice and human rights; and calls upon the UK Government to take the matter up with the Israeli government with a view to ensuring his proper release when the restrictions come up for review on 21st April.

This motion has been signed by a total of 56 MPs.
