Farm-Africa Goat Campaign

That this House notes that the purchase of a goat for Â£27 from FARM-Africa can help to save the lives of a family in some of the poorest parts of Africa; further notes that following the purchase of a goat, FARM-Africa will loan it to a family with no livestock and very little income, providing them with immediate nutritional relief through its milk and longer term assistance through the sale of its offspring; applauds those who have helped to support those in need through this initiative which reaches the poorest parts of the world; and encourages both hon. Members and the public to purchase goats so that African families have the opportunity to help themselves.
