T In The Park Music Festival

EDM number 2539 in 2005-06, proposed by Pete Wishart on 10/07/2006.

That this House congratulates all those involved with the T in the Park music festival for yet another record breaking year; notes that the Balado based festival was the largest music festival in the UK this year with some 75,000 people attending each day; believes that T in the Park is now firmly established as one of Europe's great music festivals; recognises the opportunity given to aspiring young bands to play alongside some of the greats from popular music; further recognises the significant economic contribution T in the Park makes to the local economy as well as the general Scottish economy; and looks forward to many more years of success.
