Award Of Conspicuous Gallantry Cross To Ulster Defence Regiment And Royal Irish Regiment (Home Service)

That this House congratulates the Ulster Defence Regiment and the Home Service Battalions of the Royal Irish Regiment on the award by Her Majesty the Queen of the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross in recognition of their great sacrifice and the courage and professionalism displayed in the service of the entire community in Northern Ireland during the past 36 years of continuous operational duty.
