Visit Of Estonian Foreign Minister

EDM number 925 in 2005-06, proposed by Lembit Opik on 02/11/2005.

That this House welcomes the visit of the Estonian Foreign Minister, Mr Urmas Paet, to the British Parliament; believes that Estonia has consistently displayed a forward-looking and positive commitment to generating economic and cultural links with the UK; applauds the appointment of Sir Roger Jones as the first Estonian Consul for Wales on 25th October as an example of the serious commitment Estonia has made to building its relations at a state and federal level with all parts of the United Kingdom; and looks forward to the many benefits which will result from British-Estonian links in the years ahead.

This motion has been signed by a total of 50 MPs.
