Death Of Iccho Ito, Mayor Of Nagasaki

That this House is appalled at the shooting of the mayor of Nagasaki, Iccho Ito; is deeply saddened by his subsequent death; recalls that as mayor of a city devastated by the use of atomic bombs in 1945 he was a dedicated peace campaigner and that his city is part of a coalition for the elimination of all nuclear weapons; and accordingly expresses its condolences to his family and the people of Nagasaki.
