Fuel Payments For The Terminally Ill And Disabled

EDM number 1733 in 2006-07, proposed by David Laws on 19/06/2007.

That this House notes the large number of people still living in fuel poverty; recognises the significant financial hardship and high fuel bills of those who are below state pension age but who are terminally or critically ill or who have severe disabilities; and calls on the Government to extend the winter fuel payment to cover those vulnerable groups of people.

This motion has been signed by a total of 58 MPs.
