Bt Charges On Vulnerable People

EDM number 2076 in 2006-07, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 10/10/2007.

That this House calls upon telecommunications providers such as BT to urgently reconsider any decision to impose additional charges on customers who choose not to pay direct debit as this places an unduly harsh penalty on vulnerable groups such as those on low incomes, single parents and elderly people.

This motion has been signed by a total of 64 MPs.
