That this House congratulates the Earl and Countess of Portsmouth on their initiative in organising the Cannon Ball at their home to raise money for the Hampshire Branch of the Army Benevolent Fund; acknowledges the efforts of the organising committee, the generosity of sponsors and advertisers; and notes that over £250,000 was raised to support Her Majesty's magnificent Armed Forces.
