That this House believes that former Gurkha soldiers who served in the British Army for more than four years should be treated fairly and have the legal right to live in the United Kingdom; and calls on the Government to introduce legislation to grant those who left the Army before 1997 the same rights of residence in the UK as those who have left since 1997.
