That this House expresses its concern that according to reports from the International Committee of the Red Cross Puthukkudiyiruppu Hospital in the northern Vanni region of Sri Lanka has been shelled, so killing and injuring innocent civilians and hitting a crowded paediatric ward; and supports the Red Cross' call on both parties involved to respect their obligation to spare medical facilities and activities, as required by international humanitarian law.
