CHILDREN'S SOCIETY'S THE GOOD CHILDHOOD INQUIRY

That this House congratulates the Children's Society on the publication of its landmark report on A Good Childhood; recognises that the modern world is an increasingly difficult world to grow up in; further recognises that child poverty and inequality must be reduced; notes that love and respect are important for a child's development; and urges the Government to initiate an open and full debate on the many issues raised in the report.
