That this House recognises the value of farmers' markets in supporting local producers and reducing food miles; congratulates farmers' markets across the country for promoting high quality local produce and for their contribution to the local economy in attracting consumers to the local area; notes the success of the farmers' markets in Aberystwyth and Lampeter, and their promotion of the outstanding local food producers in Ceredigion; and hopes that farmers' markets will continue to thrive and spread to more locations across the country.
