That this House is concerned by reports that the Egyptian government is forcing public sector employees to take to the streets in an attempt to disrupt the legitimate protests; supports the Foreign Secretary in his call for a peaceful transition of power; and calls for the Egyptian government to fulfil its obligations under international law to respect trade union rights and fundamental liberties such as freedom of expression and peaceful protest.
