Green Deal And Microgeneration

EDM number 1637 in 2010-12, proposed by Martin Caton on 22/03/2011.
Categorised under the topics of Energy and Housing.

That this House notes that the proposed legislation setting up the Green Deal enables microgeneration to be part of this new scheme for making homes more energy efficient and reducing emissions of carbon dioxide; and therefore hopes that, when the details of the Green Deal are published, microgeneration technologies will be part of the final scheme, not only because they can assist with reducing emissions, but also because they can help in alleviating fuel poverty and in increasing public awareness of energy matters.

This motion has been signed by a total of 54 MPs.
