90th Anniversary Of Northern Ireland

EDM number 1774 in 2010-12, proposed by Jim Shannon on 03/05/2011.
Categorised under the topic of Northern Ireland Assembly.

That this House recognises the 90th anniversary of the foundation of Northern Ireland in 1921; recalls the sacrifice of so many who have given their lives to protect the people of Northern Ireland from those determined to undermine the democratically-expressed wishes of the population; and celebrates the continuation of the historic links with the rest of the UK, symbolised recently with the conferment of the title of Baron and Baroness of Carrickfergus on their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
