Children's Access To Disability Living Allowance

EDM number 2525 in 2010-12, proposed by David Morris on 08/12/2011.
Categorised under the topics of Children and families and Sickness, disability and carers' benefits.

That this House notes that the parents of ill children often need to live in hospital wards with their children; further notes that living expenses such as meals are not paid for by the NHS nor does this motion seek to amend that status; urges the Government to consider how useful disability living allowance payments are to these parents; and asks the Government to consider this when finalising details of personal independence payment.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
