That this House welcomes the 7,300 strong increase in regular participation in rugby league as announced by Sport England; recognises the importance of sport and physical recreation for the British public; further welcomes all those new to playing the game of rugby league; believes this increase demonstrates the role rugby league plays in communities throughout the UK and is recognition of the game's inclusive and welcoming nature for people of any background, age, gender or ability; further welcomes versions of the game, touch, tag, wheelchair, masters, and 13-a-side, in this growth; and congratulates all involved in the game's administration for the increase.
