REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY, THE WOMEN'S LAND ARMY AND CIVILIAN ORGANISATIONS

That this House congratulates the Royal British Legion on ensuring the Women's Land Army joins the march past the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday in recognition of the tremendous hard work and dedication in ensuring Britain did not starve during the war, coupled with other civilian organisations which played an essential role in the war effort including firefighters, civil defence volunteers and munitions workers; recognises the importance of Remembrance Sunday to these groups and the nation as a whole; and welcomes the decision to allow relatives of veterans of the two world wars to join the march past the Cenotaph.
