Northern Ireland Schoolboys Under-15 Football Team

EDM number 47 in 2000-01, proposed by William Ross on 06/12/2000.

That this House congratulates the players and staff of the Northern Ireland Under-15 schools football team on their historic victory over Wales on 24th November in the Victory Shield; notes that this victory, in addition to previous results against England and Scotland, ensures that Northern Ireland schools now hold the Victory Shield for the first time since entering the competition in 1927; and wishes the boys every success in their footballing futures.
