Foster Care Fortnight

That this House congratulates the fostering network on their organisation of Foster Care Fortnight 24 June to 7th July; commends the magnificent work of foster carers the length and breadth of the United Kingdom who offer their own homes and the support of their families to 45,000 children in care on any one day; acknowledges the need for 8,000 more foster carers; and urges honourable Members to help raise the profile of foster care in their own constituencies.
