That this House eagerly anticipates the forthcoming Rugby League World Cup in Australia, beginning with the first match between England and Papua New Guinea on 25th October and ending in the final match at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on 22nd November; looks forward to a great contest and wishes England, Scotland and Ireland every success in the competition; hopes that fans from across Great Britain and Ireland will get behind the competing nations; and notes that the tournament will be watched in more than one hundred countries around the world.
