Entry Clearance Operation In Nairobi

EDM number 678 in 2007-08, proposed by Keith Vaz on 10/01/2008.

That this House notes with concern the escalating situation in Kenya; further notes the large percentage of British citizens residing in the area; recognises the need for alternative means by which individuals can apply for visas as travelling to the High Commission in Nairobi has now become hazardous; and calls upon the Government to ensure that the entry clearance operation continues to work in an efficient, effective and fair way.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
