That this House welcomes the decision to award the 2015 Rugby World Cup, the world's third largest sporting event, to the Rugby Football Union; notes the wide appeal of rugby union as the fastest growing team sport in England and its general appeal across the UK; recognises the positive impact the Rugby World Cup will have on participation levels, spectator numbers and the wider UK economy; wishes the organising team every success in its delivery; and further welcomes the decision by the International Olympic Committee to include Rugby 7s in the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
