Aids Orphans And Vulnerable Children

EDM number 132 in 2003-04, proposed by Sally Keeble on 26/11/2003.

That this House believes that it is vital to endorse in principle the UNICEF Strategic Framework outlining key strategies for an accelerated response to the growing crisis of orphans and children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS; and believes that commitment is also needed to put in place a detailed implementation strategy for the protection, care and support of orphans and vulnerable children, including the provision of services that will enable children to be cared for within the community.

This motion has been signed by a total of 59 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
