ADAM CROZIER'S REMUNERATION

EDM number 1652 in 2007-08, proposed by Nigel Evans on 02/06/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Pay and Postal services.

That this House notes that Adam Crozier, Chief Executive of Royal Mail, was paid a salary of £3.04 million in 2007; recognises that during his tenure he has closed 4,600 post offices and has proposed to shut 2,500 more whilst also abandoning the second post; further notes that 15 million letters are lost every year; and condemns the award of such a salary at a time when the level of service from Royal Mail is greatly reduced and the heart of the postal network system is being ripped out.

This motion has been signed by a total of 48 MPs.
