That this House congratulates the work of Rotary International in helping to reduce the number of polio cases by 99 per cent. over the last 20 years; further congratulates Rotary members' efforts in raising more than Â£430 million to fund polio immunisation activities over 20 years of humanitarian activity; notes that 2008 is the 50th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Largs which will be continuing its fundraising activities throughout the year to help eradicate polio; and hopes that due to the tireless work of Rotary Club members and many others that polio will soon be stamped out for good.
